Leica 3D Disto: How do I use the metre mark function in the toolbox? The meter mark function uses a reference height, such as the metre mark, for example, to transfer heights as required. In the menu I select programme and then toolbox. The application keeps running in the background and a message comes up to say that the following measurements will not be saved in the project. I select metre mark from the menu bar. I select 0 and confirm by pressing OK. A pop-up window appears for entering and measuring the reference height. Firstly, I measure the reference point. The viewfinder opens up. I aim the Leica 3D Disto roughly at the point by hand and then do the fine adjustment using the tablet. Then I press the measure button. Next I enter the target height; the height to be transferred. As this is the same height, I confirm the suggested 0 mm by pressing OK.
