In the Activity Monitor app on your Mac, choose View Dock Icon Show Network Usage.
Inspect the Task Manager or Activity Monitor Activity Monitor contains a record of all the processes and connections your Mac is currently dealing with. You can find it by opening Spotlight Search and typing in Activity Monitor. Here, identify and stop suspicious processes that you dont recognize.
Go to the Applications section of the hard drive. Open the Utilities folder within the Applications section. Double-click on the Activity Monitor icon to open the utility. Review the tabs at the bottom of the Activity Monitor to see information and statistics concerning the computers performance.
In the Activity Monitor app on your Mac, do any of the following: To view processor activity over time, click CPU (or use the Touch Bar). To view current processor activity, choose Window CPU Usage. To view recent processor activity, choose Window CPU History.
Tip: Use keyboard shortcuts to tag files quicklyselect a file, then use Control-1 through Control-7 to add (or remove) your favorite tags. Control-0 (zero) removes all tags from a file.
When using Quick Look on your Mac, click the Markup tool . Or when using Quick Actions, choose Markup. Markup is also available in various apps, such as Mail, Notes, TextEdit, and Photos.
Choose Apple menu System Settings, then click Screen Time in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) If youre a parent/guardian in a Family Sharing group, click the Family Member pop-up menu on the right, then choose a family member. To view app usage reports, click App Website Activity.
Go to Activity Monitor. It is built into macOS and will give you a rough overview of which apps are using your network connection, along with upload and download speeds. Go to Applications Utilities (or type Activity Monitor into Spotlight Search, or ask Siri). Among Utilities, click on Activity Monitor.
