hi everyone anthony morgante here today were going to take a look at content aware fill in photoshop content aware fill is a great tool to use when you need to get rid of something in your image for example i have this image of the sculpture and to the right of the sculpture you can see theres this little pedestal lets just say i dont like the pedestal i want to get rid of it well this is where content aware fill would come in now in photoshop theres actually two different types of content aware fill one is more automatic and a little quicker to use and the other one has more settings and it isnt quite as automatic but it may work better in some situations im going to show them both to you lets start with that first one the one that is more automatic it is destructive so when you want to use this content to wear fill that is this one that is more automatic be aware that it is more destructive so do what you need to do to protect protect your original image in this case the back

To relink one linked object without affecting any of the others: Right-click the linked layer, select Convert to Smart Object. Right-click the smart object, select Edit Contents. Right-click the linked layer, select Relink to File, and link it to your desired file.
Double click the Smart Objects thumbnail in the Layers panel to Edit the Contents of a Smart Object or, use the shortcut Command + Option + Shift + E (Mac) | Control + Alt + Shift + E (Win).
To select a layer, just click on it in the Layers Palette. The layer will turn blue [shown right] to indicate that it has been selected. To select several layers, hold down the CMD (Mac) or CTRL (Windows) key on your keyboard and click on each layer you would like to have selected.
To auto-select multiple layers, press and hold Ctrl (Win) / Command (Mac) to temporarily turn Auto-Select on, and then add the Shift key. Click in the document to select the layers you need, and then release the keys to turn Auto-Select back off.
