hey guys it is papa smurf and uh got one of the subscribers that had asked uh if i could do a trip planning video so im gonna do my attempt at that i am not an expert at reading an atlas or reading maps but i think i do decent enough um so im going to attempt to show you how to properly trip plan using an atlas as well as using uh the modern gps as thats mostly what we do but we have to at least be able to from an atlas and it is definitely uh smart good to have an atlas with you uh one in case technology fails um although anymore we kind of dont expect any of that we have you know plenty of cords and batteries and charging and all that but you never know and the other reason is because gps does not always give you a safe route for trucks especially because of our height so knowing what routes are safe to go you can read that much easier in an atlas whereas gps will take you sometimes the wrong way down roads youre not allowed to go and to bridges that uh you cant go under so th
