Vehicle with a clear title or no lien You will need the following: Original Title, valid driver's license for all parties and proof of Alabama insurance. You must bring in the vehicle at time of registering, to have the VIN number and mileage certified.
You are allowed 20 calendar days from the date of purchase to register your vehicle. Registrations in excess of 20 calendar days will result in a $15.00 penalty.
