hey guys randy groff here with tac veins i want to do a quick overview of bits and burger type jigs and getting them set up and getting them to work perfectly with tac veins so like one of the top things that you run into with this style of jig is you always want to use a helical clamp the straight clamp is is not recommended at all for our veins you cant get enough offset on them to get the amount of spin that our concept requires to create the drag that we need and so if youre using a straight clamp generally trying to go across that radius with such a small base like our veins have is going to create issues in fletching but its also not going to fly as well so we highly recommend a helical clamp for that and with a with a bits and burger in particularly you got to make sure that the leading edge of the clamp is not touching so when you have a brand new clamp i just chop off that last little bit thats going to make sure that you dont have contact i find that on smaller diameter
