Most courts and lawyers recommend using a 12-point font for legal documents. Thats large enough for anyone to be able to read and still small enough that you can fit plenty of information on a single page. Using an overly large font is obnoxious to read and takes up too many pages.
Heres a list of steps to help you create a line this way: Place your cursor where you want to insert the line. In the Home tab, select the Borders button. Select Horizontal line from the drop-down menu. Double-click the line to edit the lines appearance. Click OK when youre done altering the line.
Just follow these simple steps: Highlight the text you want to edit. Press Ctrl+D on Windows or Command+D on Mac. Click the Strikethrough option under Effects in the middle of the window. Press OK.
