well hello there crew welcome to one of the Premier geologic sites in the world we are at the southern tip of the infamous San Andreas fault here in Southern California thanks for joining me Iamp;#39;m geology Professor Sean Willy out here checking out some cool geology thanks for being with me and uh yeah letamp;#39;s just get right to it um letamp;#39;s start with the diagram here Iamp;#39;ve got a fun little map Iamp;#39;ve drawn that might help give you some context of things um so what we have here is the southern end of California hereamp;#39;s the California Mexico border this body of water here is Californiaamp;#39;s largest itamp;#39;s known as the salt and sea and and it sits out there towards the Setting Sun across the highway salt and sea is a whole complete uh another story so weamp;#39;ll skip that for now but weamp;#39;re about right here right near the southern tip of the San Andreas Vault and the San Andreas fault continues from this point northwestwa
