In a resume, bullet points help break up blocks of text, add emphasis and divide information into neat portions. Thats important, because recruiters and hiring managers want to be able to read fast and pick out the information they want easily.
The rule of three is a writing principle that suggests that things that come in threes are inherently funnier, more satisfying, or more effective than other numbers of things. The reader or audience of this form of text is also more likely to consume information if it is written in groups of threes.
Sub-bullet points can be used in your work experience section, but only if there are special circumstances for that. For example, you would need to include as a sub-bullet point if you need to mention the publisher of a publication of yours, or if you need to specify a certification number.
Keep a balanced line spacing; 1.15 to 1.5 lines is usually best. This resume spacing ensures your bullet points are distinct from each other but still part of a cohesive whole. Indentation: Proper indentation sets your bullet points apart from the rest of the text and makes your list more readable.
