Importantly, a goods receipt for an inbound delivery cannot be processed without first creating a transfer order. The key distinction highlighted is that, unlike a purchase order where a goods receipt can be posted immediately upon material receipt, for an inbound delivery, the goods must arrive before posting the goods receipt. The session will also introduce the relevant transaction code for this process.
