Is there a Word strikethrough shortcut? Select the text you want to strike through. Press Ctrl+D. A font dialog box will appear. Press Alt+K. The strikethrough feature should now be selected. Press OK. The text will now have a line through it.
Press Ctrl+D on Windows or Command+D on Mac. Click the Strikethrough option under Effects in the middle of the window.
Try it! Select Review Display for Review. Select the option you want: Simple Markup points out where changes are made with a red line in the margin. All Markup shows all edits with different colors of text and lines. In the Show Markup list, select the types of revisions youd like to see: Comments.
Click and drag your cursor through the text that you want to modify, which highlights it. Highlighting the text means that any formatting or editing tools you use are going to affect that section alone. While highlighted, click the Font color button, then the Strikethrough button. This text is now redlined.
Go to Review Track Changes. When Track Changes is on, the section is highlighted. Deletions are marked with a strikethrough, and additions are marked with an underline.
Adjust the change display settings To choose your display settings, open the Track Changes window and select the option for Show Markup. Then click on the button labeled Balloons to open a list of display settings, and pick the option that aligns with how you want to display your changes.
How to use the keyboard shortcut for strikethrough on Google Docs. If you need to cross out a lot of text throughout your doc, the keyboard shortcut is the more efficient way to go. Highlight the text you want to strike through and press Alt + Shift + 5 on Windows or command + shift + X on Mac.
