If an inmate asks you to put money on his book so he can make commissary purchases there are several ways you can do it; You can MAIL in a money order or cash. We highly recommend that you dont send cash through the mail.
The funds would need to be on a bank check made payable to the inmate (no personal checks are accepted). The inmate ID needs to be referenced and the check may be mailed to the institution where the inmate is housed.
Money Mail-Forward a money order, made payable to the inmate, via the U.S. mail-NO CASH OR CHECKS. Lobby Kiosk- The lobby kiosk will accept deposits for an inmate by using cash or a credit card. Internet-Money can be added on line 24 hours a day by using a credit card.

You can deposit up to $500 a day into an incarcerated persons account using the kiosks in the lobby of prison facilities. To deposit money for incarcerated people to use at the commissary, use Access Corrections. To deposit money so that incarcerated people can make phone calls, use AdvancePay.
