hello everyone how are you doing this is md tech here with another quick tutorial in todayamp;#39;s tutorial iamp;#39;m going to show you guys how to strike through text in microsoft word so this should hopefully be a pretty straightforward process here guys and without further ado letamp;#39;s go ahead and jump right into it so all you have to do is just highlight over whatever text you want to have a line crossed through the text and go up to the home tab and then select the little letter icon that says strikethrough when you hover over it cross something out by drawing a line through it go ahead and select that and there you go guys simple as that and if you want to undo it just hide over it again and then just select the strikethrough button and that will undo it so again pretty straightforward process here guys do hope i was able to help you out and i do look forward to catching you all in the next tutorial goodbye

The HTML element renders text with a strikethrough, or a line through it. Use the element to represent things that are no longer relevant or no longer accurate.
File metadata and controls. To bold text, add two asterisks or underscores before and after a word or phrase. To bold the middle of a word for emphasis, add two asterisks without spaces around the letters. I just love **bold text**.
Bold, Italic and Strikethrough To create italic text, surround the text with single asterisks ( * ) or single underscores ( ). To create strikethrough text, surround the text with double tildes ( ~~ ). To create text which is both bold and italic, surround the text with triple asterisks ( *** ).
Line Break Best Practices If your Markdown application supports HTML, you can use the HTML tag. For compatibility, use trailing white space or the HTML tag at the end of the line.
In Markdown, highlights are used to emphasize important words. Parts of the text appear in a yellow background after being inserted between two pairs of equal signs ( == ). Note: This feature is not offered in all markdown processors. Use the HTML tag as an alternate way to highlight text.
To use strikethrough, all you need to do is click the icon found in the upper ribbon in your word processor (usually next to other formatting options such as bold, italic), or if possible, a keyboard shortcut may work, such as ctrl+u for Microsoft word, and some others.
