so i know this video isnamp;#39;t to do with tools time or travel but i thought it might benefit somebody that owns one of these laptops so this is a dell xps 13 and the problem iamp;#39;m going to describe applies to this laptop and the 15. and iamp;#39;ve seen it online and it happened to me the problem is that the keyboard on this laptop is inset below this surface which means that there is a ridge that runs along here and on my first laptop that i had i had this exact same laptop i noticed there was a scratch running right across the screen horizontally luckily the company i bought the laptop from had an excellent warranty service and they replaced it because they deemed it a design floor but what happens is when you close the lid the there is nothing to stop the glass contacting this raised ridge section here which led to me having a scratch in whatever coating is on this screen and other people online have had the same problem so i tried to think of a solution and what i came
