So this is a new feature in Pages version 10.0 so make sure youamp;#39;ve updated your version of Pages. To create a Drop Cap in a paragraph you need to put your cursor in the paragraph. So it could be blinking at the beginning or be at the end. You could select it and it doesnamp;#39;t really matter as long as the cursor is in the paragraph because itamp;#39;s something that affects the entire paragraph although itamp;#39;s only the first letter thatamp;#39;s going to change. Select the text you want to strikethrough. Press Command (⌘) + Shift + X on your keyboard. The selected text will now appear with a strikethrough.
Add bold, italic, or underline: Click one or more style buttons or choose an option from the pop-up menu below the font. Add a strikethrough: Click the Action pop-up menu , then click the Strikethrough checkbox. Color: Click the color well (it looks like a rectangle), then choose a new color.
If you prefer to use your keyboard, the shortcut for Windows is Alt, H, 4. For a Mac, the shortcut is Command + Shift + X. Pressing the shortcut once will apply the strikethrough. Pressing it a second time will remove the strikethrough effect.
The strikethrough button appears on the Mail formatting bar located above the main part of new emails and email replies. You can strike out words, letters, or entire paragraphs using the strikethrough button from the format bar. Open a new email screen or a forward or reply-to screen in the macOS Mail application.
On a Mac, you can take the following steps to strike through text: Select the text you want to strike through. Press Command+Shift+X. Your text will now have a line through it.
Back in Notes, select some text, and press control+s (^s). A strikethrough will be in that selection. To undo, click ^s again.
Tap and hold the text to select the line in which you wish to strike through. The in-context marking menu will appear. Drag either of the blue bookends to the left or right to narrow or widen your text selection. Tap the strikethrough S icon from the in-context marking menu.
In Notes, select the text to receive the Strike-through. Right-click on that selected text, and from the secondary menu, choose Font : Styles A styles panel will slide down in Notes. Click Favorite Styles, and then choose Strike-through from the selector.
