A. Reset Your PasswordYou Have Your Security Questions Click the Forgot password? link on the login page of My Pitt. Enter your University Computing Account username and date of birth. Click Next. Answer your three security questions and click Next. Enter and confirm your new password, then click Submit.
Lost or forgotten passwords can be reset online by the owner of the computer account. The computer account owner can request a password reset online or by contacting the IT Support Center at 713-743-1411 or Livechat. Account ownership will be verified using your Cougar Card and other demographic credentials.
To maintain security, your account may be locked after multiple failed attempts to sign in using your email. Once your account is locked, click Need Help Signing In? then click Unlock Account? If you forget your password, click Forgot Password? to reset it.
