Double-click the header or the footer area (near the top or bottom of the page). Go to Header Footer Field. In the Field names list, select Page, and then select OK. Go to Header Footer Page Number Format Page Numbers, select the format you want, and then select OK.
Select the text you want to strikethrough. Press Ctrl + D to display the Font dialog box. Once the Font dialog box appears, select the Strikethrough option in the Effects section on the Font tab then click OK.
Apply or remove single-line strikethrough formatting Select the text that you want to format. Go to Home Strikethrough.
To use the Ribbon in Word to create the strikethrough effect, simply: Select the text you want to cross out. Navigate to the Home tab. Click the Strikethrough command.
In the desktop application, highlight your text, go to Format Text, and click the ab icon. Apply a double strikethrough by highlighting your text, right-clicking the selection, and choosing Font Double strikethrough. If youre using the Outlook web app, select the text, then click Strikethrough.
To do this, click Page Layout Breaks Next Page. With the cursor on the third page, double-click in the header area to open the Header Footer Tools ribbon. Then click the Page Number button and choose Format Page Number to open a dialog. In the dialog, click in the Start At box and type the number 1.
Go to Insert Header Footer. Select Options on the right side, and then select Different First Page. Select Options again, and then select Remove Page Numbers. To see your page numbers and confirm deletion of the number from the first page, go to View Reading View.
Press Alt+K. The strikethrough feature should now be selected. Press OK. The text will now have a line through it.
