since when Iamp;#39;ve got my MacBook Air 2017 with glowing Apple logo I always wondered if there was a way to turn it off sometime later I realized that the brightness of the logo called increase or decrease when I change the screen brightness but can you turn off the Apple logo the answer is no the Apple logo light comes from the screen backlight and unless you turn the brightness completely down the light will be there there is another way to turn it off forever without compromising your screen you can disassemble the screen assembly and after youamp;#39;ve lifted the display up youamp;#39;ll find the plastic Apple logo if you put in on translucent extremely thin piece of plastic or paper between the Apple logo and the screen the glow in the fact will be gone I donamp;#39;t recommend opening your screen assembly because if you donamp;#39;t have much experience youamp;#39;ll likely break something and in my opinion itamp;#39;s not worth it I personally like my glowing Apple lo
