Letamp;#39;s say youamp;#39;ve got a list and you want to sort it. You want to do that in Pages. Now youamp;#39;d think there would be some option to do that in Pages but thereamp;#39;s not. Thereamp;#39;s not a way to do it in TextEdit either. You can use a third party app like TextWrangler. You can get that in the Mac App Store and you can easily sort text there. You can also, of course, sort in Numbers, a spreadsheet. Thatamp;#39;s one of the primary things it does. But letamp;#39;s say you want to keep it simple. You want to do it in Pages. Youamp;#39;ve just got this list here. There is a way to do it. Youamp;#39;re going to have to use Tables inside of Pages to do it in a similar way that you would do it in Numbers. But you donamp;#39;t have to leave the text in a table. So letamp;#39;s look at how you would do it. Press Ctrl+D on Windows or Command+D on Mac. Click the Strikethrough option under Effects in the middle of the window. Press OK.
If you want to strikethrough text in a more efficient way, use the keyboard shortcut for it: On Mac, highlight your text and ⌘ + Shift + X. On Computer, highlight your text and press Alt + Shift + 5.
Open the TextEdit app on your Mac. Select the text you want to strikethrough. Right-click on the selected text and choose Font Strikethrough.

The strikethrough button appears on the Mail formatting bar located above the main part of new emails and email replies. Tap and hold the text to select the line in which you wish to strike through. The in-context marking menu will appear. Drag either of the blue bookends to the left or right to narrow or widen your text selection. Tap the strikethrough S icon from the in-context marking menu.
