welcome to part two of our video series covering binary numbers in this video weamp;#39;re going to be taking a look at adding and subtracting binary numbers so that by the end of this video youamp;#39;ll be able to add and subtract binary numbers with ease letamp;#39;s get started okay first letamp;#39;s get started with adding binary numbers in our first example we have 1 0 plus one zero plus one equals one and then this one is going to come straight down and we know that 1 0 equals 2 in the binary system and one just equals 1 so 2 plus 1 equals 3 and our second problem weamp;#39;re going to have a carry which means that 1 plus 1 equals 2 except we canamp;#39;t write 2 we have to stay within the binary system so we can only use a 0 or 1 and we know that 2 in binary is represented as 1 0 so weamp;#39;re going to put zero carry the one and then that one is going to drop straight down in our next problem we have 1 0 0 1 plus 1 1 0 0 so 1 plus 0 equals 1 0 plus 0 equals 0 0 plus 1
