How to conditionally print Continued if the group spans more than one page in Crystal Reports Right-click on the Group Header and select Change Group. On the Options tab, mark the Repeat Group Header on Each Page checkbox. Click OK. Create a formula to display the group name:
On the design surface, right-click the report, point to Insert, and then select Header or Footer.
There is an option to repeat group header on each page. Right click the section of the group, choose change group. Click on Options tab. Click on Repeat Group Header on Each Page.
Grouping Data: Select Insert, Group from the menu bar. Select the field to group the data by from the top drop-down list. Select the sort direction from the second drop-down list. Mark the Customize Group Name Field (only available in Crystal Reports 8.5) checkbox to show a different value in the group header. Click OK.
Suppress subreport Report Header section if there are no details Go to Report Section Expert. Highlight the Report Header section. Click the X+2 button across from the Suppress (No Drill-Down) checkbox. Enter a formula similar to the following: isNull({FieldName}) Click Save and Close. Click OK. Refresh the report.
Resolution In Crystal Reports, open your report. Create a new formula, called: New Header, and enter the following code: Save and close the formula. Under the menu Insert, select Group In Insert Group, select in the first drop-down list the formula: New Header, and click OK
The main culprits are when label or receipt printers are set as the Windows default printer. The error can be resolved by re-assigning your Windows default printer to your A4/reports printer.
To create a header: Click . Crystal Reports creates a text object box. Drag the text object to the point in the header area where you want it to be placed and click on that spot. Crystal Reports drops the text object: Enter the text you wish to appear in the box and click outside the box.
