In Chrome, on the upper right side of the screen, click on the three vertical dots, select Print More settings Options and then UN-check the box for Headers and footers.
In order for this element position at the bottom of the page, you have to add fixed-bottom to the class footer .
Using Flexbox in CSS we can fix it very easily with following steps. First set the min-height of body to 100vh. Set the body display to flex display: flex; and flex-direction to column flex-direction: column; . Select footer element (of whatever you want to stick to bottom) and set top margin to auto margin-top: auto; .
You can stick a footer to the end of an HTML page by setting the position property to fixed on the footer in your CSS.
The easiest way is to use a flexbox layout. You can put the appropriate classes ( d-flex flex-column vh-100 ) on the body, and then use mt-auto to force the footer to the bottom. Finally, place overflow-auto on the container so the rest of the page can scroll as needed. Use min-height .
Declare the footer and add the relevant classes to it so that bootstrap styles get applied. We will give class footer and fixed-bottom so that the footer can be declared as footer and then it will get styling to become sticky. Now, add any content that you want to show inside the footer.
If you want it fixed at the bottom you can use position: fixed; bottom: 0 in CSS, or other options like position: absolute - w3schools.com/css/csspositioning.asp. If you just want to check whether the footer is in fact the bottom of your content, you can use height: 100vh for your root component on the page.
Using Flexbox You can use flexbox to ensure that the footer is always at the bottom of the page. This is done by setting the giving the body element min-height: 100vh , display: flex and flex-direction: column .
