How to Strikethrough on Google Sheets [Easiest Way in 2024] Select the cell containing the text you want to apply a strikethrough on. Using Keyboard Shortcuts If the above steps are hard for you to remember, you can use keyboard shortcuts to strikethrough in Google Docs instead: For Windows, once you have selected the text you want to cross out, press Alt+Shift+5. For Mac, press Command+Shift+X.
