Answer. Yes, you can use document review functionality in WordPerfect to track changes in your documents.
Enable the redline feature by clicking the Track Changes icon. While it might look different depending on your computers version of Word, the icon often appears as a piece of paper with a bent corner, red and gray lines and a blue pencil laying over it. You can also turn on the feature by pressing Control + Shift + E.
These new changes will be red to indicate that they are a new addition to the original document. Deleted text will appear as a strikethrough, while new text will be underlined. A comment box will also appear in the margins, indicating that the editor has removed or added text to a specific section of the document.
However, they are not the same thing and have some key differences. Redlining is typically used to show changes or revisions to a document and can be done using the Track Changes feature in Word. This allows changes to be tracked and reviewed and comments to be added to the document.
Just select the text, then either (1) click the Format menu, Font, and then click to check either the Redline or Strikeout option in the Font dialog box; or (2) click the redlining or strikeout button (as appropriate) on the Legal Toolbar.
When you see a line through text in your documents, that is called a strikethrough. A line through text and strikethrough are the same thing. The horizontal line through the middle of the text represents text that needs to be removed or revised.
