i am making this video on the request of one of my followers in this video i will show you how to make a short strike mark in photoshop first open the image in photoshop i have already downloaded the strike mark drag it and place it on top of your image its picture quality is very bad so we will convert it to a smart object now open the level adjustment layers make the clipping mask now move the left slider to 90 and the right slider to 140. next select the strike layer go to the filter sharpen and select unsharp mask amount value 195 radius 26 and threshold 10 then ok this will make black area more black and white more white now select the curves adjustment layer create a clipping mask for it as well so that this effect can be applied only to the strike now increase the brightness and move the bottom slider to the right to increase the contrast next merge all layers by pressing shift ctrl alt and command e change the blending mode to hard light this will make the color stand out even
