To type the section symbol (), press and hold the Alt key, then enter the numbers 0167. On a Mac, press and hold the Option key and enter the number 6. If this doesnt work, your section symbol may be bound to a different keybinding.
Enter special characters and symbols Click in the text where you want to place the character, then choose Edit Emoji Symbols (or press Control-Command-Space bar). The Character Viewer appears where you clicked. To locate a character, do any of the following: Click a character to insert it in the text.
To create one, follow these steps: Select a word. Go to the menu Format, submenu Fonts, option Show Fonts. On the Fonts window, click on the first or the second buttons (Underline and Strikethrough) to the right of the cogwheel. On the drop-down, choose Single or Double (see the image below).
