in this video we will show you how to link a table of contents to headings in word select the heading on the home tab select from one of the heading styles you can right click and select modify to make any changes to the formatting then go to the table of contents and select the title you can either click the insert tab and click the link button or right click and select hyperlink select the document tab select the heading and click ok once you click the link it will take you to that heading the same was done for the other headings to remove the link click the link button and click remove link or right click and click remove hyperlink you can also create a link for a word in a text by following the same steps if you like this video give it a thumbs up

Alt + S is a good choice for a keyboard shortcut because its not assigned to any other commands in Microsoft Word. After assigning this keyboard shortcut, you simply press Alt + S to strikethrough to any text you select.
To cross out words, start by selecting the word or phrase. Then, go to the Home tab and search for the Font section. Look for the ab button and click on it this is the Strikethrough button. Select the text and youre done!
Simply right click on the Strikethrough button and select Add to Quick Access Toolbar. Youll then be able to quickly highlight your text, click on the tool, and strikethrough your text.
On a PC, use the following shortcut to strike through text: Select the text you want to strike through. Press Ctrl+D. A font dialog box will appear. Press Alt+K. The strikethrough feature should now be selected. Press OK. The text will now have a line through it.

Click and drag your cursor through the text that you want to modify, which highlights it. Highlighting the text means that any formatting or editing tools you use are going to affect that section alone. While highlighted, click the Font color button, then the Strikethrough button. This text is now redlined.
After you mark the entries, youre ready to insert the index into your document. Click where you want to add the index. Go to References Insert Index. In the Index dialog box, you can choose the format for text entries, page numbers, tabs, and leader characters.
Go to Review Track Changes. When Track Changes is on, the section is highlighted. Deletions are marked with a strikethrough, and additions are marked with an underline.
