this video is about using strike lines to determine the strike and dip of beds so what we have here is a geologic map where the units are indicated by symbol so get units a b c d e and f and we also have typography so these dash lines in here are your top graphic contours weve got eight hundred nine hundred a thousand and then its gonna start going uphill over here so 1000 and 1100 youve got a little valley here and you go back up to 1,000 and then one thousand one hundred and then down here we start to go downhill so we have 900 then 800 700 600 if youre familiar with the rule of vs you can see that here weve got to be pointing up and then this v is pointing up I dont really dont really go by rules but what I can see here is that Im going downhill and that that downhill is kind of tucked in right here so if I imagine trying to hike up I could hike up here through my different elevations and then I could hike up here or hike up here so either way Im going uphill but this one
