If the employer continues to operate during the strike, you need to decide what to do based on your own needs.

Most strikes are protected, but certain kinds of strikes are not protected, depending on the object or purpose of the strike, on its timing, or on the conduct of the strikers. Strike action, also called labor strike, labour strike and industrial action in British English, or simply strike, is a work stoppage caused by the mass refusal of employees to work. A strike usually takes place in response to employee grievances.

strike, collective refusal by employees to work under the conditions required by employers. Strikes arise for a number of reasons, though principally in response to economic conditions (defined as an economic strike and meant to improve wages and benefits) or labour practices (intended to improve work conditions).
Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) states in part, Employees shall have the right. . . to engage in other concerted activities for the purpose of collective bargaining or other mutual aid or protection.
