hey everybody todays lesson is gonna be on stereo nets and we practiced this before in class but I wanted to walk you through how to do it and so to start off youre going to take your tracing paper and overlay it on your equal-area stereo net and I there are a lot of different ways you can do this a lot of different formats that people use but what I like to do first is make marks at north south east and west and labeled at least north so you have reference points Im going to do north and south and east and west all right so Ive got those marked there you might be able to see that how clear that is so you do that first right and now were gonna trace the great circle Im sorry the primitive circle which is the exterior circle it is the equivalent of the outside of the circle on a beach ball diagram which youve drawn weve used before this doesnt have to be perfect but it just gives you a very good reference sort of place for your stereo net some people like to be really precise
