hi there Im fariha and in this video Im gonna show you how to draw a cross section of a geological map so lets start I want to draw cross-section across this line garlic duck stripe of paper from a page to draw profile check where Contour cut the cross section line then Mark the intersection point of contour and cross section line and write down the value of contour line on the stripe of paper from the scale of map we know that 40 000 on the ground represent one meter on the map up from this information we calculate that 100 meter on the ground represents 0.25 centimeter on the map now were gonna plot the information that we have already gathered here y-axis represent elevation in meter then place the striped paper and plot the Contour value now connect all the point that will generate a profile I colored the map for better understanding if same value Contour cuts the beading plane repeatedly then connecting this point intersection will give us a strike line to draw a baiting plan
