folks a lot of people watch my little tutorials about InDesign and one person asked me how to do strikethrough text you know where you put a line through a piece of text someone jump right in till you show you how you do this and then I might make a comment coming or so about docHub InDesign so first of all how do you do lets say I pick a word here this is a drug card sometimes they did for work to some boring content but its a good example show you how to strike through some text lets say I wanna strike through this most common for some reason I have no idea why so most people want to go that theyre in like the text editing mode and theyre looking for strike three up here looking for some option and crap well where is it well its not there and the reason why its over here theres a little hidden I dont know why docHub puts it over there and there may be some way that you can put these things on this up here where you can get to the things you use more often but I always just fi

If you dont want to memorize the shortcut, you can also access the strikethrough command through the Format Cells dialog box. Select the cells you want to strikeout in your spreadsheet. Select the Home tab. Click the downward facing arrow in the Font group. On the Font tab select Strikethrough (see image below) Click OK.
The \linebreak command tells LaTeX to break the current line at the point of the command. With the optional argument, number, you can convert the \linebreak command from a demand to a request. The number must be a number from 0 to 4. The higher the number, the more insistent the request is.
Strikethrough is a font effect that causes text to appear as though it is crossed out. For example, this text should have a line through the middle of it. The strikethrough effect may be enabled through font properties if a program supports it, or applied to text on a web page using the HTML or CSS.
The tag was used in HTML 4 to define strikethrough text.
Luckily, its very easy to cross something out in a LaTeX expression. Simply use the \cancel{x} command, where x is whatever you want to cross out.
Strikethrough in LaTeX using cancel \\cancel{text to cancel} draws a diagonal line (slash) through its argument. \\bcancel{text to cancel} uses the negative slope (a backslash) \ncel{text to cancel} draws an X (actually \\cancel plus \\bcancel)
Tap the Aa button on the top of your keyboard. Select the strikethrough icon indicated by s with a horizontal line across it.
