You will learn how to prepare an instance of InterSystems IRIS or HealthShare and a host system for API Manager, and how to set up and run the API Manager containers. Lets start by reviewing the requirements for the InterSystems IRIS or HealthShare instance that connects to API Manager, and seeing how to meet those requirements. First, ensure that the license of the instance supports API Manager. Go to the License Key area of the Management Portal, and search for API Management to make sure it is included. Next, enable the IAM user. To do this, navigate to System Administration Security Users and select IAM. Then check User Enabled. Set a new password for the user. You will later use this password when you run the API Manager setup script. Another requirement is to enable the IAM web application. To set this up, go to System Administration Security
