um my name is michaela sizemore im a software engineer on the geocat team here at ncar and im going to just be leading our wharf python tutorial today um so i know that we sent out an instruction guide on how to do git clone to get our um repository and then also set up our conda environment so were going to go ahead and actually run through that together for anyone that might have had some issues um getting everything set up beforehand so the first thing i would like everyone to do is open up a terminal window depending on if your mac or pc you might be doing that a different way um i run using a mac so this is what that terminal window looks like you can access it just through searching terminal in your search bar up here if youre not familiar with that and then youre going to go ahead and just make sure that youre in your root directory um at the top just so that way when we clone this github repo it goes into a place thats pretty easy to accept access um so in order to do g
