hi my name is Dan when inserting images in a Word document itamp;#39;s always good to use figure captioning as well it gives your document a more professional image so today Iamp;#39;m going to show you how to create figure captions for a Microsoft Word document I have an example documents file you can see I have two images laid out looking like a brochure the first thing you do is select your image and under your insert tab scroll down to where you see caption as you see it pulls up and it defaults to figure one which you can put in whatever number youamp;#39;re working on and select okay we do this for our second image and it defaults to the next number and select okay as well another option is you can change the position to place it above the selected item or you can select the autoc caption feature under the autoc caption feature you can select anytime you enter a new object into the document it will automatically create the caption for you my name is Dan and today I showed you

To cross out words, start by selecting the word or phrase. Then, go to the Home tab and search for the Font section. Look for the ab button and click on it this is the Strikethrough button. Select the text and youre done!
Add captions Select the object (table, equation, figure, or another object) that you want to add a caption to. On the References tab, in the Captions group, click Insert Caption. In the Label list, select the label that best describes the object, such as a figure or equation.
Click and drag your cursor through the text that you want to modify, which highlights it. Highlighting the text means that any formatting or editing tools you use are going to affect that section alone. While highlighted, click the Font color button, then the Strikethrough button. This text is now redlined.
Add Strikethrough Formatting from the Home Tab Select the cell or range of cells to which you would like to add strikethrough formatting. Go to the Home tab. Spot the Font section in the lower right corner. Click it.
Tip: You can also press Ctrl+5. In the Format Cells box, under Effects, click Strikethrough.
Select the text that you want to format. Go to Home Strikethrough.
Go to the Home tab and in the font section, click on the small arrow in the bottom right-hand corner. 4. Check the Strikethrough box. Click on OK.
Simply right click on the Strikethrough button and select Add to Quick Access Toolbar. Youll then be able to quickly highlight your text, click on the tool, and strikethrough your text.
