Typically, air conditioning units are covered under warranty for between 12 and 15 years. This means the manufacturer will pay to fix your AC if it stops working during that time. The warranty only remains in effect if you adhere to its terms and conditions.
10-Year/100,000-Mile Powertrain Limited Warranty Coverage is for 10 years or 100,000 miles for most models. Any subsequent owners receive the balance of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty of 5 years/60,000 miles.
With the Lennox 10-Year Extended Limited Warranty Program, qualifying parts are covered for an additional five years beyond the Basic Limited Warranty period. This provides a total of ten years of warranty coverage on qualifying parts.
