Create and export slide snippets to PowerPoint Click Add in the Slide Snippets pane and a snipping frame appears over your diagram. Move the snipping frame over the portion of the diagram you want to show on a slide. If necessary, drag the corners of the snipping frame until you have the size you want.
Crop a picture to a shape in PowerPoint After inserting the image, youll see the Picture tab in the ribbon. Select the arrow next to Crop. Select Crop to Shape, to apply a shape to the border of the picture. Crop the margins of the picture, select Crop More Crop Options , then drag the black crop handles inward.
To crop the image/shape, click the Crop icon in the Picture Format Ribbon. Cropping handles will appear move these by clicking and dragging, and the image will automatically be cropped.
The screenshot functionality is available under the Insert menu, in the PowerPoint Ribbon. When you click this option, a popup will appear showing the current Windows in your computer. You may choose to grab a screenshot from an existing Window, or use the Screen Clipping option instead to select an area.
Change the fill and line colour as for any other shape, then choose Edit Points from the right-mouse context menu. Select one of the straight segments and choose Delete Segment from the right-mouse context menu.
To crop an image: Select the image you want to crop. The Format tab appears. On the Format tab, click the Crop command. Cropping handles will appear around the image. Click and drag one of the handles to crop the image. Click the Crop command again. The image will be cropped.
In PowerPoint: On the Insert tab, in the Images group, click Screenshot. The Available Windows gallery appears, showing you all the windows that you currently have open. Turn on the snap-to options Select View on the ribbon, and in the Show group, select the dialog-box launcher. The Grid and Guides dialog box appears. To position shapes or objects to the closest intersection of the grid, under Snap to, check the Snap objects to grid box.
Split a shape into more shapes Select a shape. Click Split shape in grid Set number of Rows and Columns and adjust spacing.
