The Snipping Tool is easy to use and lets you take screenshots, edit them, and annotate them in Windows 10 and other Microsoft operating systems.
1. Adjust the Scale Levels Press the Win + I keys together to open the Settings app. Navigate to System Display. In the right pane, head over to the Scale layout section and expand the dropdown menu under it. Select 100% (or whatever scaling setting you have on your other display) from the list of options available.

Enlarge, rotate, or crop your snip With your capture open in Snipping Tool, select Edit Edit with Paint 3D to use features for sizing, color, text, and many other enhancements.
In Snipping Tool, select Delay and then select, for example, 5 seconds. Select Mode to start the 5-second countdown. Within 5 seconds, open a menu or otherwise compose your image. At 5 seconds, when you see the screen turn gray, use the mouse to draw around the area you want.
How does one resize a picture made with the snipping tool? Open Snipping Tool. Create new snipped image. Select Save as. Give it a name and select the image type from the dropdown menu. Save it to where you want on your hard drive. Open in an image editing app - the built-in Paint will do.
