To enable Snip Sketch app notifications: Open Settings from the Start menu. When Settings launches, navigate to System Notifications actions. Toggle the Get notifications from apps and other senders option to the On position. Scroll down the list of apps and toggle on the switch next to Snip Sketch.
Built-in Mac Snipping Tool Using the snipping tool for Mac is easy as pressing and holding the following combination of keys: Shift+Command+5. From here, the Mac snipping tool offers options for capturing the entire screen, a particular window, or just a portion of the screen.
Click the Windows icon and select Settings from the context menu. Hit the Privacy button on the Settings page. Scroll down to the panel on the left to locate Background apps. Search for Snip Sketch from the app list and ensure its toggled on.
To copy a portion of the screen to the clipboard, press Command-Control-Shift-4. A cross-hair cursor will appear and you can click and drag to select the area you wish to capture. When you release the mouse button, you can paste the screen shot to another application.
