Open Snipping Tool Press Windows logo key + Shift + S for a static image snip. Press Print Screen (PrtSc) for a static image snip.
Choose a Snipping Mode By pressing Alt + M when the Snipping Tool is open, you can cycle through the different modes of snipping (free-form, rectangular, window, and full-screen snip).
Press Shift-Command-4, then move the crosshair pointer to where you want to start the screenshot. Press the mouse or trackpad button, drag over the area you want to capture, then release the mouse or trackpad button. Press Shift-Command-4, then press the Space bar.
If you prefer using keyboard shortcuts, press Alt+N+R to start your screen clipping.
