welcome to another interactive computer graphics lecture weamp;#39;ve been talking about shadows this week and in todayamp;#39;s lecture weamp;#39;re going to go into shadow maps in quite a bit more detail letamp;#39;s letamp;#39;s do that so todayamp;#39;s topic is shadow mapping big surprise yeah so uh letamp;#39;s letamp;#39;s remember shadow mapping first letamp;#39;s letamp;#39;s go over the stuff that we we talked about last time now this is our setup our light source is over there this camera is over here so this is where this is where iamp;#39;m going to look at the scene from and try to render it uh and first what we do is that we try to figure out what the light sees right for that iamp;#39;m going to be putting a camera to the light and iamp;#39;m going to figure out what that light sees by rendering an image from that camera and that image will tell me for any any given point on the scene the corresponding point on this rendered image on the light by the light
