How do you record a snippet?

Start Snipping Tool and select the window. To open the Snipping Tool, go to your Windows Search bar, type in Snipping Tool, and click on it. Crop the area of the screen to record. Press the Start recording button. Press Stop and save the video file.

Where is the temp folder for snip and sketch?

You must paste them to a specific location on your PC to save them. If you dont paste the screenshot to a specific location but pasted them on other programs, the Snip Sketch tool will save the images in the Temp folder on your computer. The directory path of the Temp folder is: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp.

Why is the Snipping Tool not working in Windows 11?

The Snipping Tool app is corrupted. Your graphics driver has not been updated. Third-party apps are interfering with Snipping Tool. Your Snipping Tool certificate is expired due to a bug in the Windows 11 update.

Where are Microsoft Snipping Tool files stored?
