Start Snipping Tool and select the window. To open the Snipping Tool, go to your Windows Search bar, type in Snipping Tool, and click on it. Crop the area of the screen to record. Press the Start recording button. Press Stop and save the video file.
Press the Windows key + Print Screen key together. The screen will briefly dim to indicate that the screenshot has been taken. The captured screenshot will be saved in the Screenshots folder in your Pictures folder.

Open Snipping Tool Press Windows logo key + Shift + S for a static image snip. Press Print Screen (PrtSc) for a static image snip. Press Windows logo key + Shift + R for a video snip.
Take Your First Capture Open the application or window you want to capture on the screen. In the Capture window, click the All-in-One tab and click the Capture button or press Print Screen (Windows) or Control+Shift+C (Mac). The orange crosshairs appear. Click and drag on the screen to select the area to capture.
