The HTML element displays its contents styled in a fashion intended to indicate that the text is a short fragment of computer code. By default, the content text is displayed using the user agents default monospace font.
Using and tags in HTML It ignores the line breaks and renders single lines. But, in (preformatted) tag, spaces and line breaks arent ignored. You can easily print the code with the same approach. Just place it inside tag, and thats it.
On the Visual Studio menu bar, choose Edit IntelliSense Insert Snippet. Right-click, and choose Snippet Insert Snippet from the context menu.
To create or edit your own snippets, select Configure User Snippets under File Preferences, and then select the language (by language identifier) for which the snippets should appear, or the New Global Snippets file option if they should appear for all languages.
