You can also set the PrtScn button to open the Snip Sketch tool by going to Settings Ease of Access Keyboard and toggling on Use the PrtScn button to open screen snipping under Print Screen Shortcut.
Press Shift-Command-3. Press Shift-Command-4, then move the crosshair pointer to where you want to start the screenshot. Press the mouse or trackpad button, drag over the area you want to capture, then release the mouse or trackpad button. Press Shift-Command-4, then press the Space bar.
Open Snip Sketch: Capture a screenshot: Click on the New button in the top-left corner, or use the aforementioned keyboard shortcut (Windows + Shift + S) to enter the screenshot mode. Use the menu on top of your screen to select which mode you want to take a screenshot in.
