so i i thought i would just share with you a little bit about how i cut out my patterns when i get a new bag pattern i always print it off on cardstock i think this is a hundred and fifty pound paper cardstock im not sure but um you know its pretty pretty solid cardstock and instead of sitting and cutting these out with my ruler and rotary cutter or my scissors or something um i use my scan and cut dx and ive got a little table right here um which you cant see very much of but i lay my mat flat on that and then this is my paper cutting mat my scan and cut has a couple different mats two or three and so ill just stick this down and load my mat and i do this for each uh individual piece of of card stock that ive printed off my pattern pieces on so my mats loaded so now im going to tell it that i want to scan this because i have to scan it so that the machine can see where to start to cut so ive put it in and ive chosen direct cut and that i want to do all this within this machi
