this is crystal and were putting page numbers in the upper right-hand corner in Microsoft Word so yep word has a feature that can automatically put in page numbers in any location that youd like but the standard that Ive seen is the upper right-hand corner so here I am in this word document and it makes sense because Im going to insert a number Im going to go to the insert tab and then here is in the header and the footer group so because its in the upper right hand corner its going to be inserted in the header but I want a page number and word has this icon right here all I have to do is click right on it and then choose which location I like the page number to be so do I want to the top bottom or even in my current cursor location I want it to be on the top and as soon as I hover I get a little preview so heres left heres middle and heres right well that looks good to me so all I do is I click on it and it goes right to that location it takes me to the header and notice it
