as you can imagine being a computer coach I take a lot of screen grabs screenshots of various programs one of the things that has been driving me well slightly potty is working out how to add a border around an image I can do that in word easily enough but I dont always put things into word how can I do it well here I am in snip and sketch which is of course the latest version of the Snipping Tool Im not going to show you how to use it but let me give you what has turned out to be an amazing tip that I use all the time and its permanently switched on I can put a border around the image just a nice black line all you need to do is whether youve got a snip taken or not doesnt matter Im going to click in the top right hand corner on the 3.4 C more and I want to go into settings and as you look down the settings there is an option that says snip outline add an outline to Snips switch it on you can choose the color Im happy with black Im leaving it as the default thickness but of co

To use the Snipping Tool when you have a mouse and a keyboard: Press Windows logo key + Shift + S. The desktop will darken while you select an area for your screenshot. Rectangular mode is selected by default. The screenshot is automatically copied to your clipboard.
