To use the Snipping Tool when you have a mouse and a keyboard: Press Windows logo key + Shift + S. The desktop will darken while you select an area for your screenshot. Rectangular mode is selected by default.
Heres how you do it: If you want to capture the entire screen at one go, press the Windows key and Prt Sc key simultaneously. If youd like to capture a single active window, all you need to do is click on the window you want to take a snapshot of and then press Alt + Prt Sc simultaneously.
Press the Windows logo key + PrntScrn key together. On tablets, press the Windows logo button + the volume down button together. (The screenshot is saved in the Screenshots folder in the Pictures folder.)
You can take a screenshot on a Dell laptop or desktop computer in several ways, but the easiest is to simply press the Print Screen key, which Dell usually abbreviates as PrtScn or prt sc.
Most notably, you can press Win + Shift + S to open the screenshot utility from anywhere. This makes it easy to capture, edit, and save screenshotsand you never need the Print Screen key.
Press Shift+Cmd+3. Open the Snipping Tool or press Win+Shift+S. Paste your screenshot. Use your Print Screen key. The simplest and way to capture your entire screen at once is to use Windows built in hotkey: the Print Screen Key.
Press the Windows key + Shift key + S key, all at the same time. Your screen will dim and your cursor will be changed to a crosshair. Select the portion of your screen which you want to be captured. A thumbnail will pop-up on your laptop screen where a Snip saved to clipboard is written.
To take a screenshot of the entire screen, press the Print Screen (it could also be labeled as PrtScn or PrtScrn) button on your keyboard. It can be found near the top, to the right of all the F keys (F1, F2, etc) and often in line with the arrow keys.
