hey guys James Mason here today Im going to show you how to use tin snips to cut root flashing the moment bring all these parapet flashings around the top of our roof deck here and Im going to show you how you use a left around edit one get a nice straight cut how to get these Flushings in nice and easy we want to make a cut straight up there sometimes a little bit difficult to make that straight cut with one set of snips so what we have are opposing snips hope you can see it there one set of Clips add this down and they cannot bear and the other set has it on the opposite side so weve basically got it said left hand and right here its nipped reason weve got two different types of snips is for the purpose so what I generally do is go in with the opposing snip first it just about a centimeter off or any Joff start making a cut off the side we actually want to go if piecing here is obviously an off cut wanted to do that it lifts just lifts that lip up enough that you can then get t
