this is a video of ACL reconstruction graft preparation here I am on the back table whip stitching with an Rx fiber loop an allograft I typically do not use a graft holder I use a number two fiber loop on either end and whip stitch till the end and then cut the needle and I do this to both ends Here I am pulling full tension I am now going to run it through a sizer to get the diameter of the graft so I know what diameter tunnel to drill once I have sized it I then put tension on it well the autoscopic portion of the case is being done Here I am with a marker I am marking the tightrope the appropriate length so I know when the button is expected to flip on the lateral femoral cortex and I also mark the appropriate graft length so I know when to cease pulling tension on the tensioning sutures
